Dot NAME Domain Names

Launched in 2001, the Dot NAME TLD is the only one supposed to be for personal sites only. These domain names can include personal or fictional names, nicknames and/or other designations people are popular by. Initially, just third-level registrations were permitted, so if you wanted to reserve john.doe.name, you were required to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was liberalized and second-level registrations were also permitted. Already acquired 3rd-level names remained working.

You will be able to edit the WHOIS contact information, to park your domain, to set up Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an already purchased domain to our company if you receive its EPP transfer authorization key from the current domain service provider and we will renew it as soon as the transfer has been completed.
