Hepsia's File Manager allows you to handle the content of your site using simple point-and-click actions. Right-click contextual menus allow fast access to different file management options, while convenient drag & drop functionality will enable you to upload new files from your desktop computer in no time. You will also find in-built file editors and an image viewer. You will be able to pack and extract files effortlessly as well.
Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your computer. The in-built drag & drop functionality will allow you to easily move files between your computer and the server. Just select the file that you want to upload from your desktop PC and then drag it over to your browser window. The same goes for downloading a file from the File Manager to your personal computer. Plus, you can download files and even folders to your desktop computer by pushing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager, you can create a brand new file or folder with just one single click of the mouse. All action buttons are handily located above the file/folder list and you can modify your files with ease. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to a different folder, view the contents of a file or edit its permissions, delete a file, etc.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager interface, you will be able to archive and unzip all types of files. It does work astonishingly fast - just select the files you would like to pack and press the Compress button. You can even select the compression format (.rar, .zip, etc.). It is just as easy to extract an archive file to a selected directory.
File Editors
With the File Manager GUI, you actually do not need any external pieces of software in order to edit your files. There is an image viewer, which allows you to preview the contents of your image files to get an idea of how the images will actually appear on your website. Also, you will find several in-built file editors, which will give you complete authority over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are designed for more proficient users, while the WYSIWYG editor (where you can see all HTML source code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced users.
